Lolipot Shabu Shabu | Bay avenue Queensbay Penang
Ever want to taste Shabu Shabu after finish work in Penang Industrial Zone ? There is a lovely place located in Bay Avenue, Queensbay area for everyone to enjoy. The shop is named Lolipot, just behind the building of Apex Coffee if everyone see from the coastal highway.
The places can occupied around 100 people in that shop. The place is cozy place indeed with music and lots of foods you can take from the conveyor belt just like when you having the Japanese meal. You have to sit in the middle row on the shop in order to take the food from the conveyor belt or you can order from the staff when they give you a piece of order list.
The most important is the shabu shabu which they will come and ask you whether would you like in beef slices, lamb slices or pork slices. It is very limited and better get it as fast as possible. There are 3 choices of soup which is Tom Yam, Plain and their famous is milk + soya soup. If you are having 2 or 3 person, then just order each soup to share and taste the different as the pot is suitable for one person.
The shop are theme is white color, so I quite like their design actually.
Promotion having now in December this Month is order Crab at RM 1 each only.
Different meal are up for grabs from the conveyor belt.
Small hints :
As the shop is new , management still aren’t so well planned.
Seats are a bit lower when sitting in individual section. This giving some diffculites for people to take the food from the conveyor belt.
Please book a reservation before coming to shop. I saw most walk-in customers just left as seats are reserved since everyone are trying new place.
Shop rules keep changing. Please ask them if required for example changing soup, ordering prawn and beef , pork , lamp slices etc. Ask the staff please.

The last time i went was almost the same time you went. Now it’s already Feb 2011. I really hope they didn’t change anything out of customers’ interest for their own gain. To me, my last visit’s experience was excellent. Hopefully my next visit (tomorrow) will be the same, coz i will be bringing friends along
